Project Goal: The homeowners wanted to stabilize the structure, re-define access to the back yard and expand the usable exterior space. |
Project Challenge: This is the first step of a multi-phase project. The roof and existing siding needed to be replaced. Star Construction Company installed 40 year rated materials, low E Anderson windows and sliding door, and new Cedar Clapboard. A drainage plain application extends the life of the exterior paint and siding. Result: In addition to the functional replacements, a screen porch and extensive deck were added to soften the overall look of the home and to provide the owners with additional exterior living area. The Trex Basila decking and rail system provides a low maintenance alternative to traditional methods.
