Project Goal: The new homeowners wanted to update this dark, gloomy kitchen while at the same time keeping some of the existing commercial-grade appliances. |
Project Challenge: Star Construction Company, Inc designed and built this award winning kitchen. The room was stripped back to the bare bones and an archway was added. The height of some of the walls was reduced to extend vision and light disbursement. The fireplace was rebuilt to balance the large appliances. Finally new lighting, floors, counters and cabinets were added. Result: This kitchen is now a bright and inviting space that has won the NARI award for the category of Residential Kitchens of $60,000 - $100,000. |
